At AluxClean, we want you to be happy with every home, pet, and car cleaning tool you buy from us. If something is not right, we are here to help. This Refund & Return Policy explains when you can return an item, how to start a return, who pays for return shipping, and how and when you will get your money back.

AluxClean is a United States-focused online store operated by a China-based cross-border seller. All prices are shown in US dollars (USD), with any applicable taxes shown at checkout. Because we ship to you from overseas, some shipping times and steps are a little different from a store based inside the United States. We explain those differences below so there are no surprises.

1. Return Window and Eligibility

You may request a return within 30 days of the date your order is delivered. To be eligible for a return, an item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • It is unused and shows no signs of wear or use.
  • It is undamaged and in the same condition you received it.
  • It is in its original packaging, including any tags, inserts, protective wrapping, and accessories.
  • You can provide your order number or proof of purchase.

Items that are returned used, washed, soiled, damaged through normal use, or missing parts or packaging may not qualify for a refund, or may qualify only for a partial refund. We will always tell you clearly if this applies to your return.

Please note that our product photos are representative concept images meant to show the type and general look of a product. Small differences in color, pattern, or packaging between the photo and the item you receive are normal and are not considered defects.

2. Items That Cannot Be Returned (Non-Returnable and Final-Sale Items)

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, some items cannot be returned once they have been opened or used. The following are non-returnable and considered final sale:

  • Used hygiene items, such as cleaning gloves or grooming gloves that have been opened, worn, or used.
  • Any cleaning cloths, brushes, mats, or tools that have been used, washed, or removed from sealed packaging in a way that prevents resale.
  • Items marked as "final sale" or "non-returnable" on the product page at the time of purchase.
  • Free gifts or promotional items received at no charge.

This section does not limit your rights when an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. In those cases, you are protected under Section 7 below, and nothing in this policy affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

3. How to Start a Return

Starting a return is simple. Please do not send any item back before contacting us, as returns sent without approval cannot be processed and may be lost.

  1. Email us at support@aluxclean.shop within the 30-day window.
  2. Include your order number and the name of the item or items you want to return.
  3. Tell us the reason for your return so we can help you in the best way.
  4. If your item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, please attach clear photos (and a short video if possible) showing the problem, the item, and the packaging.

Once we receive your request, our team will review it and reply with the next steps, usually within 1 to 2 business days. If a return is approved, we will send you the correct return instructions and the return address. The return address may be different from the address your order shipped from, so please wait for our instructions before mailing anything back.

4. Who Pays for Return Shipping

Who pays for return shipping depends on the reason for the return:

  • Change of mind or no longer needed: If you are returning an item because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong item, or simply no longer want it, you (the customer) pay the return shipping cost. Because items ship across borders, return shipping for change-of-mind returns can take time and may cost more than a domestic return, so please consider this before requesting a return.
  • Damaged, defective, or wrong item: If the item arrived damaged or defective, or if we sent you the wrong item, AluxClean pays for return shipping, or we will arrange a replacement or refund without requiring a return. You will not pay return shipping for our error or for a faulty product.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method for any approved return and keeping your tracking number. If a returned package is lost in transit and you cannot provide tracking, we may be unable to confirm receipt and complete your refund.

5. No Restocking Fee

We keep things fair and simple. AluxClean does not charge a restocking fee on returns. You will not be charged a fee simply for sending an eligible item back to us.

6. Refunds: Method and Timing

Once your returned item arrives at our facility, our team will inspect it to confirm it meets the return conditions described above. Here is how refunds work:

  • Refund method: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (the major credit card or PayPal account used at checkout). We are unable to issue a refund to a different card or account.
  • Refund timing: After we inspect and approve your return, we will process your refund. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refund to post to your account. The exact timing depends on your bank or payment provider.
  • Refund amount: Your refund covers the price you paid for the returned item, including any applicable taxes that were charged on it. Original shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns. For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, you receive a full refund, including any shipping you paid.

If more than 10 business days have passed since we confirmed your refund and you still have not received it, please first check with your bank or payment provider, then contact us at support@aluxclean.shop and we will look into it for you.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will make it right at no cost to you. You can choose either a replacement or a full refund.

Please contact us at support@aluxclean.shop as soon as possible after you notice the problem, and in any case within 30 days of delivery, and include:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the problem.
  • Clear photos (and a short video if possible) of the item, the damage or defect, and the packaging.

The photos help us confirm the issue quickly and arrange your replacement or refund without delay. In most cases, we will not ask you to ship a damaged or defective item back. If a return is needed, AluxClean will cover the return shipping cost.

8. Exchanges

We are happy to help with exchanges. If you would like a different item, the fastest way is to return your original eligible item for a refund and then place a new order for the item you want. This is usually quicker than a direct swap, because a cross-border exchange would otherwise require the original item to travel back overseas before a new one ships out.

If your exchange is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will send the correct replacement to you at no charge. Just email us at support@aluxclean.shop with your order number and photos of the issue.

9. Order Cancellations

We process orders quickly, usually within 1 to 2 business days. If you need to cancel an order, please email us at support@aluxclean.shop as soon as possible.

  • If your order has not yet been processed or shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.
  • Once an order has already shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. You may still request a return under this policy after the item is delivered.

Because we ship across borders and aim to dispatch orders fast, the cancellation window is short. Please reach out right away if you change your mind.

10. A Note on Cross-Border Shipping

AluxClean ships to customers in the United States from overseas. Here are a few realities to keep in mind:

  • Order processing typically takes 1 to 2 business days.
  • US delivery typically takes 7 to 15 business days after dispatch, because of cross-border shipping. These are typical estimates, not guarantees, and weather, carrier delays, or customs processing can occasionally add time.
  • Import duties and customs: For most everyday orders, no extra charges apply. If any import duty, customs fee, or tax is assessed by US authorities, it is the responsibility of the customer; please contact us first if you are ever asked to pay an unexpected fee.
  • Return shipping for change-of-mind returns may take longer and cost more than a domestic return, since items travel internationally. Please factor this in before requesting a return.
  • Refund timing begins after your returned item is received and inspected at our facility, which can add transit time on top of the 5 to 10 business days it takes a refund to post.

11. Safe Use of Cleaning Products and Tools

To help protect you, your family, your pets, and your belongings, please follow these simple safety steps when using our cleaning products and tools:

  • Always use each product according to its label and instructions.
  • Keep products and tools away from children and pets.
  • Test on a small, hidden area first before using on a larger surface, fabric, or finish, to make sure it is safe for that material.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AluxClean is not responsible for damage or harm that results from use that does not follow the product label, instructions, or these safety steps. This does not affect your rights regarding items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, or any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
